Was just wondering what the advenrages and.disadvantages are over one another? What kind of setup would benefit more from each one?

my car wil be for the street and im nit igniring both. Just wondering how each option changes things

Stroked = street monster, lower powerband
High compression+built head = highway monster, higher power band

well is 91 I would forget about high compression, unless your planning on running water / meth. injection. You should (seriously) only consider a stroker setup. (unless, like I said, you use water / meth).

Could i get by with 9.0 comp stroked 2.3 on big 16 g

Could being the operative word here. Yeah, you more then likely could. Will you make more power then an 8.5:1 2.0L on pump (91 crap tane), no, def not.

I'm not saying that to try and put you down either. 91 is simply not resistant to knock enough for high compression with boost in the hot dry summers you'll see.

I would look into water/meth because unless you want to start buying race gas or some how get your hands on e85 pump won't be enough.

I would advise you to consider where you want to put your money. You can make some pretty decent power on a POG tune. (plain old gas, ie premium pump, 91 octane in your case). And have a very drivable and pretty decent street car. Now if your willing to deal with the water/meth setup, you could push the boost, and tune, a little harder on the street and have even more fun. The thing is with the water/meth, is that if you run out during a WOT pull, your engine will all but surely self destruct.
