I am rebuilding a 1992 6 bolt engine for my gsx. I want to increase the compression ratio and was wondering if the pistons from a N/T 2.0 are higher comperssion and will they fit into my engine? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

n/t pistons probably wouldnt be a good idea. You can get forged pistons in almost any compression ratio. If you want to save some cash check out 2g turbo pistons, they have about half a point more compression.

N/T pistons will be way too high for you. I wouldn't go over 9:1 compression pistons in a street car. Find a set of 2g pistons (8.5:1) for cheap, or get a good set of forged ones in whatever CR you like.

Most companies cheap out when it comes to materials and thicknesses for N/T applications because they don't see the same stress that boosted parts do.

Go forged or use 2G turbo pistons if you'd like more compression.
