I just had some HIDs installed recently. Tonight I was trying to go to the xgames and I noticed that one light was out. The low beam driver side doesnt turn on but the passenger side does. The high beams turn on. Overall all lights turn on except the driver low beam.

If they were both working to begin with, then you most likely blew the ballast on the light that is not working. I had this happen to me once, luckly I purchased mine from a reputable seller and I was sent a replacement immediately.

wouldnt that make my high beam not work also?
turn the headlights on before starting the car and see if that works.
i tried it and no luck.

turning on car or hids first does not affect anything. if your highs work that just proves you didnt blow a fuse or melt a wire so your good.

when you turn on your hids does the side that doesnt turn on flicker?
makes sure the harness and plugs are snug and didnt not come loose. sometimes the clips snap and the wires loosen up and dont make contact.

if everything seems good switch the ballast to the other side and verify that the ballast is in working condition if its not than your ballast is out if it is try the same with the bulb.

do you have a relay harness?

thats pretty much all you can do, its really easy once you find out what it is. just return it to the place you bought it from and get a new one....if they do that.

Almost every time I turn my headlights on with the car already running the driver's side doesn't want to turn on. I turn them on before starting the car they both work every time. So, explain that.
