Hey my name is Ken and I'm a newbie to this forum. I already search the site and I love it so far. Very good info. I'm new to dsm but not new to turbo. I have several 240sx turbo in the past and now I have a 1992 Talon FWD turbo and I'm planing to go 12s with the car. I bought the car for $1000 with SAFC2, 550cc, walbro pump, act clutch, rebuilt motor and trans. The turbo is stock 14b, it is ported as well as manifold. I took the car to the track last saturday at Englishtown NJ for a run and I ran 14.08, I got 2.1 for 60 and thats the only time I got it, all other runs were 2.4. I run it at 11psi and cannot boost more than that because the car sputter at the top feel like fuel cut. I believe the exhaust is too small for higher boost and the car is untune. The previous onwer put 2" crush bent piping and pepboys muffler on there and it sound like shit. Now I just order Borla XR1 3" round muffler with 2 glass pak muffler to reduce noise. The piping will be 3" mandrel bent and I will weld everything myself. I also upgrade to a Precision TE FMIC and 2.5 IC piping. I will dyno the car this weekend and boost to 15psi to see if I can runs low 13, well only if I have traction. Well, here is my car in the progress of making it into 12 second car. Looks good.

You should be able to run a good 18psi with the 550's and the FMIC...maybe even abit more

Also a 2g Exhaust Manifold and o2 housing would be some nice realativly cheap upgrades.
