If you don't need a cat for emissions, get rid of it.

no, not really. NC only check for emissons on 96+ cars...mines a 94.

An exhaust shop can fab one up for you as well. They won't let you leave with it installed but they can make it fit.

Agreed. If you aren't subject to emissions testing you don't really need a cat. Find a test pipe that's decently made and bolt it in. My old na motor picked up a bit of power and mpg when i pulled the cat.
