hey well 1st off im driving a 99 Eclipse N/T...and lately ive been looking into a engine swap and i recently found a site called JDM Source, and i found the 4G63 Turbo w/ Tranny and shipping and everything will cost $1680, now me personaly i dont know if this is a good deal or not and i was wondering if anyone knew a better deal some where else or if this is a good deal...but thanks for taking your time and reading this....

You can't simply drop a 4G63 into your nonturbo car. different mounts and no kits are made. Read more and search.

Follow the tuning guide and www.vfaq.com first

It takes a lot more than just dropping in an engine and tranny for you to do this swap which I haven't really seen done before (could be wrong). I would suggest you do a lot of research and you would see that boosting your 420A would be a better solution.

i have checked into just getting the turbo kit, but i really didnt find many kits, and most of them were all like stage 2 or 3, and i dont want that right off the bat. maybe im just looking in the wrong site/places for the kit. thanks for the heads up.

well why did you buy a n/t if you wanted the 4g63t, How much did you pay for it. I bought my 96 with 72k clean title no problems afte a mechanic checked it, for 4500.

well lets put it this way 1st...if i didnt have bad luck i wouldnt have any luck at all....i moved to Oh. like 4 yrs ago and had some extra $$ after selling my other car and what not, and trust me i looked EVERY WHERE for a GST/GSX and i couldnt find one, so i found a 99 GS 35,000 miles really clean inside and out, did a car-fax on it everything was good...bought it for 9,000...then like a week later looked in the paper and saw a 98 GSX for sale for like 6,500 i think...talk about a kick in the balls...
