Well I just installed my pte 50331 and unless I am in boost it is hesitating terribly. Especially when I first take it out. I don't know what the problem would be but its driving me nuts. My mods are in my profile. And after I get done accelerating hard I notice alot of smoke out of the exhaust. I don't know if that is helpful at all. Thanks in advance.

Yeah the smoke is white from the looks of it. No I am not venting my BOV but the hose may be kinked. I haven't gotten to the boost leak test, but I did notice that the gasket on my wastegate to o2 housing was missing a chunk out of it. I don't know if that would effect it under vacuum or not. which seems to be when I am having all my troubles. I do have dsmlink and since my battery died my previous tune was erased which could also be leading to some of my problems. I don't know I will have to do my boost leak test and see what I come up with.

I have a question dealing with maybe exhaust gasket problem maybe causing problems with the hesitaition problems or do you guys think that it is mainly an intake/vacuum problem. The white smoke could possibly be fuel from running to rich. I havent gotten to the boost leak test becuase of oil issues I am having but will do as soon as that problem is taken care of.

yeah I was sort of thinking that. Now the dump tube in reality wouldnt need the gasket on it right becuase I could just swap the two. The White smoke that I see when I get off it is more than likely just fuel that hasnt burned or does oil burn white also.

Yeah I am going to have to get a new hose because of the new placement of the intake. The recirc tube is alot closer to the bov than it was stock. Yeah that would be a temporary solution until I get the dump tube gasket. The only reason I think its not coolant is because of the smell. I know I am probably not going to be able to smell it but coolant has that distinct smell when it burns. I do smell oil burning from somewhere when my car sits and idles though. I could be wrong on the color of my smoke. I am waiting on a new AN fitting for my oil return because I cross threaded the one I had so until then the car will just sit and wait. I will keep updating as I fix problems here and there so keep on this thread if you would so we can get this figured out. Thanks again.

Well a little update I replaced the gasket with the a new one. But it appears that the real stuttering problem was with the cas invert option with dsmlink. Once I did switch on the option I lost the stuttering problem. Keeping the boost low for now but cant wait to turn it up with the proper mods.

Thank you for helping point out some of the obvious that I overlooked. Its always the hardest to find something when its right under your nose. Thanks again. If I ever see you around Norwalk I will flag you down so you can check out the setup.
