HELP with eprom ecu!!!

Ok, I will try and get all the proper info in this post. I have a 1991 turbo laser with a 16g and 880cc injectors (waiting for bigger turbo). I got an eprom ecu from a 1994. I got a chip from dsmchips. I noticed that with the 1994 ecu (either chip stock or dsmchip) the bcs light is on all the time and the ecu does not see knock. THe original 1991 ecu sees knock and operates the bcs fine. Any ideas? Did I get a non-turbo ecu? Are the socket and caps maybe not soldered good enough? Please help?

Sounds like a non turbo ecu to me.Can you post a pic of the board? What is the factory eprom number?

The number on the factory eprom is EB20 and litte underneath it is 3Z06. SUpoosed to be from a 1994 eclipse turbo fwd. I am waiting for a tow-turck tomorrow mornig so can't double check the part number on the ecu.
