Ok, As most of you know, I'm putting my engine back to a 7 bolt.

Ran into something weird. The engine is in, the car starts everything seemed to be fine. However, the drive axle (passenger side) is rotating as if the car is in gear. This happens with the engine running of course in case you're wondering.

The front of my car is still on Jack stand, so I can clearly see it rotating. The car is in Neutral.OMG

Did I assemble something wrong?

The car is a 5 speed GST.

thanks in advance.

yes, it was rotating really slow. Funny, but i just checked on it right now after letting the engine run for a while and it stopped.

See, you just ignore a problem long enough and it goes away.:hellyeah:

Man, a new rebuilt head and still have the tick... :banghead:

I totally had a brain fart. I forgot that I haven't added coolant :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

so I let I ran for about 20 minute, and drove around the block twice before realizing it when the engine was really hot. am I ####ed or what.

damn I hate myself right now. What a bone headed oversight.

I am letting it cool down right now with the hood opened.

please give me some words of encouragement here. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Well as long as you never really got on it and really pushed it then you should be fine. As long as when you put in the coolant you have no leaks. Make sure to check all hoses and clamps. I did that. just rebuilt the engine. Running to show a friend the car and forgot to clamp down the bottom coolant line to the radiator. Needless to say my car was well into the red for over 20 minutes. But she ran fine after, when I replaced all the lost fluid. Good luck!

Thanks for the encouragement. Well now I ran into another issue. when I was pouring coolant into the car. there was a leak, but the leak is from a metal line coming from the block.

I can not find any hose to connect to this. This metal nipple is bolted to the block located next to the inlet of the turbo. It is shape almost like a "U" and points down.

I don't think I have this on my 6 bolts. I checked my original 7 bolts that came with the car, and it also has one. I have no idea where this connects to. I have no more hoses.

It is definitely some sort of returned line for the coolant.
