Help! Weird noise when turning! (VID) Impossible to figure out...

Have you checked your sway bar frame bushings. My sway bar frame bushings just went bad, practically the noise you have. I can grab mine through the rim and pull and push it back and forth like a two person saw. Just an idea.

Something is loose and moving around (obviously, keekee) I'd take off your tire and re-torque everything I see around that area i.e upper and lower control arms, calipers etc.

At least we know so far it is not the wheel bearing or your axles.

Sway bar frame bushings? Which ones are those? I thought there is just sway bar links next to tie rods I believe? Maybe someone has a pic? I tried searching on them, but I cant find nothing. Today I heard noise again! But it is very soft now, not as loud. Still has me worried! :hmm:

By the way nothing is loose at all, everything has been rechecked many times.

your sway bar end links attach to the strut and the sway bar. There are two frame bushings that mount the sway bar to the frame. I have a horrible squeaking right now. I couldn't figure it out but I wasn't really trying to find it. Thought about some of the history of parts that have been replaced. Kicks and giggles and I reached through my rim grab my sway bar and I can push it back and forth. Shouldn't be able to do that. Squeaks like no other.

Added: I just listened to it again and man it just really sounds like the same noise I have right now.

#13 is your sway bar which attaches to #14 (your sway bar end links)

The frame bushings I'm talking about are #15 (which also include the bracket piece) the bushings get worn out and will squeak and sometimes even let the sway bar slide back and forth. There is one on each side of the car. You can see the bushings by looking through you rim (depending on the design of your rim)

Wow thanks for that post very helpful :)

I tried looking through rim but couldn't really see anything. I have stock rims and tires, so I don't know. I will have to jack the car up and check. Pic is very helpful, so Ill use that as a guide.

Yesterday I was driving at night and it was raining a bit and I noticed that the noise got incredible loud! It got me real worried and it was definitely coming from the front of the car, it was even doing it when driving slowly in a straight line..

Now I remember when I jacked up the car a while ago, the control arms I bought from worldsuspension had tears/rips in the boots!! WTF I added silicone on the rips just in case, that was a while ago. I don't know if maybe that can be causing the problem as well...I emailed those bastards so they better help me.

Once you Jack the car up, see if the Noise is coming from the Left side Because I had the same exact noise, I change the wheel bearing and nothing then After a while it got louder so I then Noticed that It coould of been coming from the tranny and it was...I took it to a transmission shop and there it was...Destroyed Bearings. Cost me like 500 bucks to fix....but now everything is all good!:hellyeah:

What?! Not the Transmission!

I did jack up the car today when I was bleeding (doing clutch master cylinder). I checked the sway bar, bushings, end links, and they seemed fine...I tried moving them and were stiff as a rock.

The noise does come from the front left, and I was thinking of transmission before I read this post! But how can you check if its the transmission? It only makes noise when making left turn (sometimes) Or is in the rain and been hot or been driving for a while (which doesn't sound like suspension...)

Axle bearing carrier? Anyone have a pic of where it is located? Not sure where the AC mount is, last time I checked when car was jacked, I didnt see any broken bolts anywhere, I skimmed through the whole bottom of the car and tried to move things, but everything was stiff..

Hopefully I can figure this out soon

The best thing to check all these parts if they seem tight is to use a rubber mallet. Gently tap each knuckle and joint and it will make a very distinct knocking sound if something is loose. Even if it is very minimal. My opinion on what it sounds like is a lateral arm or bushing...

Okay, check your brake pads, they might be missing the retainer clips. That might be ## problem.
