HELP! Temp Gauge!

Hi im pretty new to this site and to DSM's and im would love some advice! I got a 1998 gs eclipse and I bought the BEM faceplate indigo gauges for my gauge cluster and i installed them but i accedentally moved my temperature tack and when i plugged it back into my car it didnt move?? I know I didnt break anything and it worked before! But ever since I replaced my gauge overlay and moved the needle a tid bit it stopped working! help!! An thank you!

Then it sure sounds like you broke it.. Unless it's catching on something.

Yeah I guess I ended up stripping it, think I can take the tack off and reset it?

A tack is a small pin used to attach things, or possibly a type of weld used in a similar fashion.
A tach is short for tachometer, which displays engine speed.

I doubt you're talking about either, are you referring to the needle? Chances are it's just plain broken if it's not moving at all anymore, but you could always check the sensors first.
