Help please, shop in socal?

hello dsm tunners

i was hoping if someone can shine light on a shop in the area of socal that can rebuild a 420a to a stage1 and rebuild a turbonetics t3/t4 turbo. Also if a shop can tune it...its going back on my 98 rs eclipse 5sp.

I had a wonderful set up and will be posting a journal when I get back state side in september.

I'm in riverside. rubidoux to be more precise.

If i have to drive somewhere for a reliable shop, i will. 2hr radius drive though!

You have Megasquirt to tune it ?

I would say Road Race Engineering. So far that's the only one that comes to mind.

I will look into road race.

I don't have megasquirt....to be honest, i'm not sure if the car came with a tuner. I know its a star stage 2 turbo kit and assumed the tune went on the SD card that goes into the Greddy boost controler.

I love the car because of its high mpg (35+mpg) and performance 13.9sec @ fontana speedway on 87 w/ 8psi. best of both worlds if you ask me. I drive about 6,800 miles a month so its why I want a professional to help out on this rebuild.

hmm thats pretty good gas millage for a 420a turbo. Greddy boost control wont tune your car. You might have something else thats tunning your car cause i know when these cars get tuned right the gas mileage goes up again. Im running a 16g on 91 and im getting about 20-25mpg and im not tuned.

I do A LOT of highway miles so its why i get that number

I'll be digging around now to find what tunes my car....if its not the sd card then im fresh out of ideas

adams motor sport track is right next to me

The engine is in SEVERAL pieces. so i'm looking for a new motor or short block to put back on it...I already found someone who could do a rebuild for the t3/4 turbonetics turbo for $300 unless anyone knows of a better more reliable place.

i wish i had faster internet to look for a motor on sale on the forums...otherwise $1300 for a shop near by

alright sounds good. After MOD 12 we will go for a run. I want to make to MOD 12 without anything broken haha.
