no, the inlet and outlet are smaller.. it will be as if you have a 2.5" dp with a 3"test pipe and the go back with a 2.5" catback... unless you cut and welld the 2g's smic inlet/outlet there will be no noticeable power/flow gains...

stock 2g smic have been pushed to at least 300whp, and from what i have read on your build you are far from that.
if you really want or NEED to swap intercooler go with a punishment fmic or a VRSF fmic.. those are my two personal favorites...
 
Alan11: thanks for the suggestions/constructive criticism. By mid next year I should have added, 14b or s16g, 550cc. Injectors, 190lph pump (might go evo8), 272 cams, dsmlink or flash a 2gb ecu. I might be missing some other things, but with that do you think I will be close to 300 and will need a Fmic or would I be fine with smic?
