help me think of an idea for custom tails

so im looking to do some custom tail light work to my car, i want to do something that fits my car scheme of red and black, i was thinking of somehow incorporation tint, blacking out, and/or painting red or black. i am thinking of doing some tpye of cicle design, but i am not sure. help me think of some ideas for unique CLEAN looking tails.

pics of my car. NOTE: my car is RED not pink, my "digital camera" aka my video camera, refuses to take quality pics, but here is what im working with. my rear bumper isnt on yet also (its a blitz)

Umm, I've been thinking about this one for a while: get a cheap set of altezza's on eBay, take them apart. Next you take your old lenses apart, and keep the transparent red lense. Now reattach the red transparent lense onto the altezza base (w/o the clear lense). This would give like a stock look, but it would light up in circles and would make it look rather cool, because the chrome housing would make the red lense seem brighter. Do you knida see what I'm getting at?

just paint the centerpiece pink on your stock ones to match the rest of your car .

ahhh its RED haha, i was going to just tint them, not black them out, i dont like how blacked out lights look, but i want something a little bit more unique then that, and with painting the middle piece, that is an option, but i want something to match my wheels and soon to be CF hood..

ah an idea just hit me, but i first need to find those covers that 9D9 mitsu RS has, the covers with the 3 circles cut out. first tint the tails decently dark, paint cover to match car and put over tinted lights.. thoughts? im not sure if this is what ill do, but right now im liking it. thoughts?

edit: i put slammedsilver, but its 9D9 mitsu rs that has those covers, here is a pic of them.. i want to find them!

i had a old pair of altezzas...i jus tinted them red..so now its stock look with red circles...but i insted of lighting up all 3 on each side i did the 1 on each side for a diff look

i saw a set of altezzas on ebay of a guy who opened his altezzas and painted the chrome part the same color as his car.... i think that would look sweet. Does anyone know of anyone whos done this before?

in my opinion, the chrome in the altezzas are too flashy for me and attracts too much attention, but i would buy a set if they made them for talons, and i would paint the chrome part gloss black. .... i guess i could just buy black ones

Ok i suck at photoshop and I don't even have photoshop this is using paint but if I had eclipse tails this is what I would do.

buy a set of those carbo fiber tails ... put those on but keep the stock centerpiece and paint it pink ... err red. Whatever it is .. it should be a good combo and still look clean.

I actually have that done. If I can get my damn camera working, I'll get a pic tomorrow and put it on here. I have the carbon fiber tails, but I bought them when they first came out so they have that gap where the trunk lock is and the middle piece got pretty dirty so I just painted over it...RED that is. My car isnt pink.

i was going to get the "cf" tails and do the real cf center, but after looking at numerous cf tails ive deceided they look too cheap. i want something that looks better then that cheap looking plastic. i always thought the idea of CF tails would be a good idea, but they just look cheap, i wish they made better looking ones without that clear plastic over etc etc.

my only regret is that I didn't use nightshades b4 I put the covers on. I have been saying that I should have tinted them all along. They are pretty dark tho from the factory, so it looks pretty cool.
