Help Me! Ran into puddle

So I was driving home just now from work and I didnt see a BIG puddle. I ran right over it then two minutes later my battery light and that "crown" (pretty sure its alternator) looking light came on. Then my power steering went out and the car started to overheat not in red but almost there, and my car started to smoke a little. Did I hydrolock my motor? Whats going to happen and how do I fix it? I mean the car was running fine until it started to overheat. If I got water itno my filter what is the worse that can happen?

so I just found out my alternator belt slipped off, and I have NO coolant watsoever. I think my lower coolant hose has a hole in it or something.

"Hydrolock" means LOCKED. If it was running, no, you didn't.

Whats going to happen and how do I fix it?

Diagnose it and spend money. Not much we can do without being there and touching it.

I mean the car was running fine until it started to overheat.

So we know the car was overheated. Damage because of or beyond that may not be discovered until tear-down.

If I got water itno my filter what is the worse that can happen?

If it didn't kill the motor, which means it didn't hydrolock, it would steam-clean out some carbon.
