Hello,

I am new to this site, but I am in need of urgent help. The check engine light for my '95 Eclipse GST went on recently, and I took it to a mitsu shop to get a diagnostic done. After spending $600 on major maintenance, the shop said I needed to spend another $400 to buy an AIC (Air Intake Control) motor. What does this do? What does it look like? Where is it located? And is there any way I can get the part for cheaper??? The mechanics at mitsu said if I don't replace it soon, it will destroy my ECU...

Any info would be great. Thanks.
~Vic

P.S. If anybody knows a good website or two where I can find cheap Mitsu Eclipse parts for my GST, please let me know. I also need to buy new radiator hoses and a new starter motor.

Thanks alot.

I'm not sure what the ISC motor is either...
Basically when I start my car, my idle drops really low when I turn on my air conditioner...It definitely has something to do with regulating the air conditioner effect on my engine...

hrm...
