First off I would like to apoligize for posting here and not in the Bolt-on tech. section. However I can not post there because I am still a nOOb.

I just bought a set (4) of fuel injectors off of eBay. They were advertised at FIC 850cc injectors. Here is the link to the eBay auction http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...STRK:MEWA:IT&viewitem=&item=150156581553&rd=1

Once I received them, I called FIC to make sure they were really 850cc becasue I had no way of knowing by looking at them. Also to order new seals. As soon as I told the gentleman from FIC the ingraved numbers from the side of the injectors, he said woah, thoses injectors are not from me. He then asked for the number on the top of the injectors, so I told him that number. He then told me he was sure they are 850'cc or larger injectors by the number on the top. He told me to check with PTE, but I see that PTE does not offer 850's. I have several pictures of the injectors included, but the number are hard to see. I will list the numbers from each injecor below.

I would like to find out what type they are for sure (what brand, and what CC) to set up DSMlink correctly.

Ingraved numbers from side of injectors: Each one has a diff. beginning number, but the end is the same.

Injector #1 14175/910144
Injector #2 9875/910144
Injector #3 15275/910144
Injector #4 4775/910144

Numbers on top of all injectors all read the same: 7304 1713743

Here are the links to the pictures.

I dont have mine to check the numbers....But they look just like my FIC's.

But, you called em, so that cant be it...

Call pte like suggested...Might be theirs, but diff number.

Hmm,...I wonder if my fic's are even that...Look about the same.

Yeah they look like my FIC's also. Pretty much identical, just looks like they are missing the o-rings near the tip...

I contacted the seller. He told me he removed them from a 2g car that he just bought. He is returning it to stock for a DD and these injectors were on it when he purchased it. He stated that the previous owner told him that they were FIC 850's. I got a good deal on them at 220$ shipped, and I already sold the B&M AFPR for 40 to a friend. I would like to keep the injectors, I just wish I could figure out for sure what CC they are, and what co. they came from. I ordered a set (upper and lower) Viton seals from FIC for them so I can install them.

I typed the part number 17113743 into google, and it appears as if that is a DELPHI brand injector. I'd phone DELPHI and ask them more info about your injectors.. 880cc's?

try this link http://www.spoolinperformance.com/delphi-880cc-p-72.html?manufacturers_id=14

The big RP shown in one of the pics verifies that they are originallly from Rochester Products which would disclude them from being in the Dephi brand.

FIC does use Rochester injector but the part # would be more like 125-850 engraved on the side. I dont know for sure and have not researched the #'s but I know for a fact that they are not FIC's

I will try to research the ##'s you gave us. better yet, gooogle the #'s and see what you can find.

I tried to google the engraved numbers on the side, did not come up with anything. I also tried to google fuel injector, PTE, FIC, DSM fuel injector followed by the engraved numbers, I did not find anything.

I think 92awddsm is right. They don't seem to be like FIC's. I just checked my FIC injectors and the engraved #'s read 125-650. I have the FIC 650cc's...

UPDATE: I emailed a tech. from PTE. I had two questions for him, 1) what CC they are 2) if they were from PTE or not? He emailed me back and said from the number on the top of the injectors they are 880cc injectors. He didnt answer question #2. I emailed him back to see if he could confirm if they came from PTE or not?

Good call

I actaully ran into an injector identification problem a couple weeks ago with my fics. I was able to talk to a fuel injector clinic rep at DSM Shootout. I was not sure if mine were 650 or 950cc. He told me that if the serial number on them ended in 14 they were 650 and that if the number ended in 44 they are 950's. Seeing that the numbers you posted end in 44 I would say you have fic 950cc injectors. That is what mine turned out to be. Hope that helps you out. I have a number, website, and email address for fic if you want it.

Justin

Well I talked with Michael Bacon from PTE. He told me they are PTE injectors for sure. He looked up the numbers on the side of the injectors and could tell me all of the information he had on file for them. Here is what the Email read:

The injectors in question are Precision injectors. When these injectors were
flow matched they flowed 75.9, fuel pressure at 43.5 psi, 3000RPM, and
90% duty cycle.
These injectors are 880cc.
These injectors were flow tested on 10-14-04.
