Help before Purchase please Urgent!

Okay I've been looking around VA area to find a gsx to purchase and i finally found one. Have a few questions on what ya'll think I should do. The guy who owns it now got it stock from original owner it's a 95 GSX. He ended up doing full greddy 3" IC piping and upgrading to a big 16g turbo also getting a recirculating BOV. got an ugly body kit ugh only bad part). The transmission though doesn't seem to want to go into gear at times liek when u put it in the clutch out to gas it wants to grind and pop out ive been told it's most likely the transfer case or syncro's. The guy is selling the car for about 3200 and the set up alone would be worth that with all the extra's it comes with as well. I just don't want ot buy something then have hard to fidn parts. So any issues you guys think can't be handled by someone mechanically inclined or should i not bother to mess with it. Liek how hard is finding a rebuild tranny kit if nota refurbished tranny and transfer case and some $'s on how much they'd cost. The car is pushn 22psi and makn around 350hp i beleive. Please help asap i dont want to miss out on this good of a deal if it really is a steal but if think all im going to get is problems ill just sit back and wait once again motor has 116k on it so ill do maintence asap. Also any good places to buy factory bumpers for cheap? thanks in advance ### respond asap. if something isnt clear say so and ill try and make it worded better.

AWD 2g trannys are kind of hard to find but they are around and usually $500 & up. A rebuild from a reputable shop is going to start at around $700. What else does it have besides a 16g and intercooler?

big 16g turbo stock manifold i beleive full greddy IC3" tubing 3" turbo-back exhaust, ground effects kit (will be replaced after maintenence), 7" LCD touch screen head unit, tri-pod a pillar gauges are air/fuel, boost, and oil pressure. umm halo headlights. full ground control coil overs. re-circulating BOV. i think it has a manual boost control dont ask how im not 100% sure didnt really get to look at it a ton today was in a rush.

I would stay away from it. How many miles? Rust? Mainly the strut towers, rear wheel wells, under the hatch, spare tire well. Price?

117k miles on it and didnt look for rest il lask him to take pics and he's asking 3grand

Leather? Has the timing belt been done? Its coming up soon if it was properly maintained before. Do you know if its a real mhi big 16g? What fuel mods? SAFC I hope and 550 -650s on that kind of boost.

He's going to show me all the receipts so from that i'll be able to see the whole build, but what cc are stock injectors, cause he said he kept stock fuel rail and same injectors but also upgraded to a 255 walbro fuel pump.

is the gsx a 21,21,23 spline transmission? fora 95

All 2gs are 23. You can use any 2g trans but if you get a 95-96 trans you need a 95-96 T case and if you get a 97-99 trans you need a 97-99 t-case. Stay away from the jdm ones they have a differnt final drive ratio and wont work with the 2g rear diff unless you swap some gears.
