heat shielding

This exhaust heat shielding is hanging off, I plan to take it off tonight, and I'm wondering how necessary it is to replace it, and if so where the best place to get some is???

take it off these things are really annoying and fall off and rattle all the time. I have all of them ripped off on all my cars.. It wont affect anything.

Any muffler shop can tack that back up for you. $20.

I took mine off and didn't have a fire or anything. I stuck it back on, by using a couple of large hose clamps--all the hardware/fasteners were rusted--and it doesn't rattle.

I know I can get it put back up but everything rattles, so if I dont need the shielding I'm just pulling it.
