Having No BOV?

LOL saw a car at the shootout today with pvc ic piping with NO bov to be found. no flange, no nothing. on looseleaf paper it said "will buy hks bov". i didnt even feel like asking the guy wtf.

I have a HKS SSQ. but when I run at the track I remove the vaccum line so it is not functional... I know it is not good, BUT it keeps the boost while shifting better. I cannot speed shift due to a AWESOME tranny so I have to let off the gas and let it rev down 1k rpms or so, shifting over 7k is damn near impossible.

No offense but you are just plain dumb. Don't ever work on another car.

Uhm disconnecting the vacuum line off your bov so its not functional?
What do you think you accomplish when you do this?

Damn I most have the king sh!t tranny I can shift at 8500. :D

I realy hope your just being sarcastic, or you're an idiot..

Yes, there are alot of cars that either didnt come with a BOV or dont have them now. Could they use one???? Yes. Alot of those guys with GN's that I have talked to say they dont run them becasue they think they are rice and the car didnt come with one so why add it. Its cool casue I didnt pay for a 1500 turbo. It is always a good ides when running alot of boost on any turbo to have a BOV. It iwll prolong the life of the turbo it self and if rerouted like our cars it will help keep the turbo spooled between shifts a bit better.

This is why DSM are looked at as unreliable. People do dumb shit and then blame it on the car.
