has anyone used or know about voltage stabilizers

I'm looking to buy a voltage stabilizer for my eagle talon and the site I shop for parts is myhottalon.com. they have 3 voltage stabilizers on there site the most expensive being $250 I'm wondering if they do what they clam to do. I know you can find pretty cheap ones on ebay for way less than this but sometimes when you buy cheap you get a cheap product so if anyone has used one of these products I'd like to know whether they really do work and would be worth the money.

While you're at it I can sell you a fuel booster with a holographic magnet technology that snaps around your fuel line to boost horsepower and fuel economy, as well as a turbinator insert to your air intake that creates a vortex improving combustion and also boosting power.

Or you could see where I'm going with this and save your money on all this stuff for something that actually does something.

I guess you can't believe everything a dealer says since they just want your money. what about superchargers? I'd rather have a turbo charger but if I did that I'd go big and don't really have the 4 grand to spend on one so is a supercharger a good alternative or just save that cash and just continue going big right away?

From their test all of them worked in one way or another. You can find the Raizin one on ebay for about $30. The cheapest I have seen the sun auto for is about $150.

what about superchargers?

The electric ones are useless (although there have been a couple that worked, but they were completely custom built and are not for sale). Am yet to hear about a belt driven supercharger on a DSM.

I installed that Razin voltage stabilizer for someone before. It was as useful as an interfooler or a turbo whistler.

Yeah, according to their test, the Raizin Lost .5 in hp but gained 2.3 in tq. I was reading something else on a RX7 site, Replacing or cleaning the factory grounds could help improve an older cars electronic system as well. To me it made sense. As time goes by (and our cars have seen some time) things get corroded,broken,taken off, etc.

I bet just cleaning up the power and ground connections under the hood will do as much as any aftermarket voltage stabilizer.

You already have a factory one, the battery and alternator. With good clean connections the voltage is quite stable.

Well, they show gains, most of em anyway..... Not worth the money of course. Just do as Steve said, clean all the grounds. I think the differences in the dyno results were just random margin-of-error type difference. Or the car was at diff temps during diff pulls. Who knows. I vote NO

The only voltage stabilizer that I would use is the Kenne Bell Boost a Pump. I have one so my fuel pump voltage is always 14.4v.

I just thought it was kind of cool that they did a Mythbusters type of thing on them.
