Has anyone done a megasquirt on a dsm???

if so can you explain how you got it to work...

I am teaming up with a local brain who knows way more about electronics than god himself....

We have all winter to make it work and we are set out to do it... ANY help you can give us would be awesome and well thanked...

His background for the megasquirt is amazing... he was one of the firsts to get them to work on probes and also 240sx's... thanks alot for the help

It's a fuel management system. It's cheap and powerfull. Their's a probe around here running one, and also an 11sec BMW. It's definately not plug and play though, but it's still very interesting.

I looked into it, if I had nothing but time, a chunk of extra money, and an extra car..... Then I might think about running it. I think it is a cool system, but there is a lot to do to make it work for your car. I would probably try it on a N/A older V8 car first and figure it out. But there are so many sensors on DSM's that it may not even be worth running unless it is a track only car.

The 3s guys go crazy over these, but IMHO, they aren't that great. The fuel map matrix is small, and don't you have to purchase a seaparate unit for timing control?
