I have a quick question here guys

I was looking thru a box of crap i got from my buddy when i bought his laser and i also found a Hard UICP with larger throttle body elbow piece with a greddy type s blow off valve.

So i ask him why he never installed it and he said he could never get it to fit, so i remove the old stuff and gave it try, the pieces fit nicely except i see where he ran into the problem.

The pipe that connects to the throttle body elbow is at a weird angle the kit comes with a 45 degree elbow made out of thick rubber but the bend is probally like 60 or 65 degress so the pipe dosen't fit at all since the coupler wont bend enough.

So my question is does anybody know if this 2.5 silcon tube be able to bend or is it like the rubber and not ment to.

The page dosen't say if it's flexible, just wondering if anyone has used this product or similar stuff.

Yeah i kind of figured that sadly, i'm not sure though who makes a flexible hose since i know they don't sell 60 degree couplers

Have you seen the bubble type silicone connectors? Possibly one of these will work.

They flare out in the middle to allow for more flexbility, I have seen them on some FMICs when the pipes didn't line up exactly straight.

Edit: I am now understanding the rubber elbow is a 45 degree, I am not sure if one of these couplers will work, posssibly find a company that makes custom couplers.

Yeah i might try to find a company that will do that he bought the UICP kit off ebay so thats probally why it's not a perfect fit, but it does have a real greddy type s bov he bought all ready installed plus it would be a nice upgrade so it might be difficult to but i'll try since it's worth it.

Oh and does anybody think that if i heat up the metal that maybe i could bent it slightly so the 45 degree coupler would fit im not sure how well it would work.

If it helps the pipe is made out of aluminum with a polished finshed
