I posted this as a sub help question in another thread but never got a full solution, so im hoping someone in here can help me.
I purchased my Eclipse and it has Halo projectile LED headlamps in it, now the problem is, the brights only work when the knob is turned to the running lights and I have to hold the knob in. Im assuming they are wired wrong.
So what im looking for is a proper wiring diagram to make it so I can click the brights on and off when the low beams are on. I would wire it so they are always on, but the stock bulbs were replaced with a much brighter bulb and I would end up blinding everyone
Anyone that can explain it too me? all the wiring diagrams ive looked up I dont understand
.. which is why im not an electrician
Ok, so after doing a little more looking I can give some more information as to how the Halos are wired currently.
The lowbeams with the halo have a blue and black wire coming out of the rubber housing, blue being the positive. The high beams have a red and black wire coming out of them, red being the positive. there is a green wire that comes up and meets the blue wire and then a red, green, and black go into a wiring harness that connects to a harness connecting to another harness and running up the wheel well off into the unknown.
Now I know if I connect all the positives together then the highs and lows will run at the same time, but the highs are too bright due to the bulbs to have running at the same time.... so any idea on how i can make it do it all works like stock highs and lows would work?
