Never really seen the 3000GT bov on a 3000GT so I wouldn't really know there but looking at the photos of what Hahn has and whats on ebay for the 3000GT I would say they are the same.

Why is it that none of the TURBO DSM people have anything to do with Hahn?

1 word, LAG. There is nothing wrong with most of what HRC sells, but the turbo design is flawed. In exchange for the ability to almost never creep the HRC 16 and 20G turbos have the nasty 10cm exhaust side. There are people making good numbers with the 20G but more are doing it with other 7cm 20Gs. Also HRC does not offer an alternative to the expensive 16G and 20G models they offer. The install of thier 20G requires a rather expensive install kit that is not needed anymore especially with the introduction of the direct bolt on turbos that most companies offer now. For the price HRC is asking for his kits you can buy a 50 trim or better that will bolt directly on. I don't see these prices or designs changing in the future any time because HRC already has a very firm grip on the 420a, neon, jbody, and 2 wheel market.

Well at least his business suceeds. Bill seems to be a great guy.

Probably not. Most aftermerket bov's have their own proprietary flange that you need to adapt to. Some may come with an adapter, but it's usually pretty rare. Anyway, from what I've seen it looks like the stock 3000gt bov mounts the same exact way that a stock 2g bov is mounted. You stick it onto a hole in the pipe and it's held on by a clamp (or in the case of the hahn turbo kit for the 2gnt's, it's clamped onto the pipe via two clamps and a silicone coupler). Look closely at this pic. In further searching, I found a place that sells adapters to allow you to mount an aftermarket bov to a stock 3000gt pipe (looks like same adapters used for 2g's). Look Here (Dejontool) bottom of the page. You could get an adapter that would allow you to run either a greddy or 1g dsm bov using the flange that hahn will provide on the pipe included with the 2gnt turbo kit. Of course, I could be wrong, but that's what it looks like to me. To get a definitive answer, call Hahn. I'm pretty sure they would be able to tell you. ;) And I bet if you buy a kit from them, they may even be able to put a different flange on the pipe for you.

Not true. Hahn has some great products for the turbo dsm's (at least in my opinion). I bought their 3" Eliminator downpipe. I'd seen plenty of other vendor's downpipes before I made my decision. I felt Hahn's piece was of higher quality than the rest. Of course it was a bit pricey... I've also got their FMIC. I support Hahn. They've got some good products.
