guys need help is this a real evo 16g?*pix*

the guy seems pretty clueless but claims this is a 16g that came off of an evo 8, can someone confirm this for me? thanks!

It wont be a direct bolt up for a 1g you need o2 housing and a maybe the mani? but how much you paying for this?

Its def. off of an Evo. what year was it off of.
if it was off of an Evo 8 it had the 9.8 turbine housing
if it was off of a Evo 9 it had the 10.5 Large Single Puck Turbine Housing

No way have you seen the inlet on the 1G O2 housing no close at all.
How many miles are on it.
brand new the Evo 8 turbo goes for $685, and the Evo 9 goes for $740
So depending on the mileage Thats pretty cheap.

you WILL need a new manifold for this in order to fun it on a 1g or 2g for that matter. going off the top of my head i think the 8's have the split exhaust side housing. this is off ebay too isn't it??? i think i saw it on there once and he was saying, "it was an EVO III and it fits evo 4-8's"

damn stop being cheap. That will not bolt up with out a new o2 housing and mani. And for those to be made you can just buy a brand new 16g made FOR our cars.

It wont work, i hope you didnt buy it. The evo 8/9 engine is backwards when you look at ours. Their manifold wont bolt up to our head. You would need a custom manifold and downpipe and o2 housing. Not worth it at all. Resell it and purchase an EVO 3 turbo or big 16g. Make sure you have the fuel and supporting mods for an upgraded turbo. Hope that helps. And remember to search, this has been beaten to death.

The intake will point toward the alt. and P/S pump. It will not work without major modifications.
