i know this might have been discussed already, but i couldnt find anything on it.

i am returning my car to stock. right now it has a evo16g with a SS oil feed line from the filter housing. when i took off the t25 feed line, it was giving me trouble so i just clipped it off, thus rendering it useless. i want to return the car to stock so i can sell it for more, seeing theyll think its untainted and just looks nice, plus i can sell the mods and get even more money.

i was wondering if the oil feed line fitting from the 16g will go into the t25 inlet, or do i need to buy a different fitting? and if so, what fitting would i need to mate a 16g feed line from extremepsi to a t25 inlet?

The inlet i believe is a 7/16 24 inverted flare. What youll need is either a 7/16 24 inverted flare to -04 an 90 degree fitting or a 7/16 24 banjo bolt with a 7/16 banjo to -04 an

That will work but youll need a 90 degree -4an coupler. Youll kink the line or the line will come to close to the manifold if you just use the straight fitting

i already have a 90* coupler that came with the SS feed line(check extreme-psi's 2g install kit). so i just need a adapter to go from the t25 to the 90* elbow. later today when it cools down, im gonna take the fitting and go to napa and see if they got anything.

Does anyone know what the AN size would be for the Stock 2g oil feed line. My stock line broke, an im moving it over to a honda CRX. got all the other parts for the swap. just need the fitting for the oil feed hole.

Does anyone know what the thread pitch is for a gt35r oil feed hole on the actual turbo it's self?

OK, I'm so tired of searching the dsmtalk, dsmtuners. dsmlink... etc forums. None of the vendors post the info I need, and I'm in a pickle so I'm starting my own thread on this.

The question of the day is:

What the heck is the size, thread, pitch of the oil feed hole on the T-25 (T-28) turbo?!?!

I mean c'mon, I've taken it (the turbo AND the oil inlet fitting for the stock hard line) to A and A auto parts, and after 1 and a half hours the guy couldn't figure it out.

I even took it to Circle Nut and Bolt (a large distributor of all nuts and bolts) and the guy said he didn't know, because it was a very odd size!! WTF WTF

I'm so blown away by this. None of my searches turn up anything. I guess I'm so tired of this because I've been trying for a week, just bought the SBR SS braided Goodridge feed line for the T-25/T-28... and it DOESN'T FIT!! The banjo bolt is too big.

Granted, I'm calling them up in the morning and asking them directly, but I'm just so sick of this problem. I know someone here knows the answer to this. I'd just like to go to the store and pick up the part if I can. Thanks guys... I needed to vent.

If no one answers why not call mitsubishi dealer in the service dept. and ask them?

Been there, tried that, they don't know!

But thanks for the suggestion. Anything and everything is appreciated.

Hey, I could try and call Garret up!

Yes, the inverted flare fitting. I called Slowboy (they are taking care of me and getting me the new part) and here is what I found:

The T-25/T-28 has a 7/16" inverted flare fitting for the turbo oil inlet.

I called around 15 places in my area today and no one could help me. So I had no options.

Did you take the banjo bolt into a auto part store or a shop and have someone use a thread gauge to tell you the size and pitch?

Sorry I didn't reply, but yes, I had. No one could help me (though they tried). It's all better now, though.

It is a 7/16" x 24 inverted flare. I would HIGHLY suggest running an additional restrictor fitting.

Or you could also run an inline filter if going from the oil filter housing.
