craggar from SBR said the GT13 spools almost as quick as a 50 trim...

whatever that means =o

I have a GT-13 it hit 20 psi at 4500 in 5th. :thumbdown But i also have hks 272's :D and with the overlap on those puppys is a kicks you in the nuts. But at 5k it hits hard as hell and pulls all the way to redline. It doesn't level off like stock cams. Boostinawd drove it and with some toulene on half a tank so about 100-103 octane on 24 psi with 15 counts of knock it got up and went we went fom 45 to 115 in about 400 feet. Give or take a few 100 :thumb: Trust me alot of the lag come from the cams. My buddy spools 19 psi at 3100 in a 16g and with my cams he wouldn't hit full boost till 3800-4000 they hurt bad bottom end but i am a topend wonder :D

Go with GT-13 :thumb: Slowboy makes some nice shit i haven't had a problem with them.
I always deal with Curt but Mike is cool as hell to the the best shop by far...
:talon: :dsm: :laser:
Good luck on install

Well I have the 272/272 also so the spool up will be a little slower but I agree that top end is just sick..can't wait till spring.. :)

Like I said, I had a GT-12 and it got full boost around 4-4.2K.
That was also a 1g motor though, so the compression was a bit lower. Id Imagine on a 2g that full boost would be somewheres around the high 3k's.

Sean is Patrick....

Kevin had the GT-11, 1G cams and got full boost very high 3k's or 4K, just like me. I looking at either the gt-12 again, or a GT-12 this time. I was quite happy with the GT-12 when I had it. *the only reason I sold it is because of being laid off from work*

Yea, Im looking at something like the GT-13 just because of future plans, but wasn't sure what kinda RPM to expect from it full boost wise. Im sure it still knocks you on your ass while its building boost to though. I hate this bench racing, winter really needs to go away.

I got the GT12 - but im in the same boat, waiting till spring to pull it out of the garage. Or atleast a decent day to drive it down to the dyno. We still got 2-3 ft. of snow hanging around :thumbdown so I dont see me driving to the dyno anytime soon.

So I hear. I'd like to move down somewhere between Orlando and Leesburg within the next year or so. Im just finishing up college up here in Mass. We have a vacation house in Marco Island - right over the bridge from Naples but I never really get to go there that often and obviously my car never comes with me when I visit. :thumb:
