gst exhaust

i am looking to upgrade my 60mm greddy evo exhaust with the 80mm one
i have read that the gst and gs exhaust are equal so it should fit but
will my pacesetter cat mess things up
i currently have the normal hahn downpipe to my cat so would i also need the new eliminator downpipe and a 3" cat as well or can i use a coupler to hook the 3" greddy cat back to the current pacesetter 2.5 inch.

I guess what i am saying is do i have to mod it all at once or can i do it one piece at a time

Get it all at once.. It will cost less because of installation and time to do it twice. I got the 3" GST stainless cat back from extreme motorsports and it worked great for my car. I have a 3" random cat and a straight pipe that I can just throw in for tuning. A muffler shop built me a 3" downpipe from stainless with a flex section for less than what others are charging over the internet.

which model random cat did you get
the ones listed for the eclipse goes up to 2.5 inch so did you get a universal weld in?

Yes, I got a universal and Portland Muffler put flanges on it, so it can come off anytime

so you saying that the gst cat-backs fits the gs non turbo no problems????

everything that i have read says no problem as long as the cat is the same size as stock

Don't worry about the Cat. Don't even buy one until you have your car in the air and have your downpipe done. Make sure you have the right distance, remeber this a custom car, not factory.
