Yesterday my front driverside wheel started making a grinding noise. It happens when im slowing down and when the car is turning left, but not to the right all the time. Anybody have an idea what that may be?

Most likely you either have a rock stuck in the brake somewhere, or your dust shield is all bent up and rubbing on the rotor. You can tear those off without any problems. I tore mine off after I couldnt get them to stop rubbin.

ok well originally it sounded like it was from the driver side wheel but now that its colder out and louder its coming from the steering...when i turn the wheel it makes loud grinding noises.

power steering fluid was full. that was the first thing i checked...any other ideas

Does it only happen when your rolling and turning? Or anytime you turn the wheel? I would say put someone else in your car while the motor is running and have them turn the wheel back and forth until you can hear your grinding noise. You should have an easier time identifying the sorce if your down there listening. I have a feeling it might just be your splash shield rubbing on the tie rod or something simple like that. Have you ever run the power steering completely out of fluid? That would cause the seals in the rack to go bad and could cause leaks and noises.
