They may call it that, but a crashbox is simply a transmission with no synchronizers. Sadly, the language is going down the same toilet that everything else is.

I'm pretty sure that the crash box kit i was refering to had new synchro's in it and they were missing most of the teeth, I maybee wrong but that what I remember..
 
You can not double the springs in the 3/4 hub or the 5/reverse hub. There simply is not enough room. Double synchro 3/4 is available, PM me if your interested.
