Im gonna say this. If you going blow through....get the TIAL. If not get an SSQV. The down side to BOV that have the pressure buildup on the underside of the piston is that they blow open. I know the tial is like this but they are proven. The SSQV is different. Anytime under boost the pressure holding the valve closed is FAR greater than the opposing. All in all Venting get the TIAL, Recir...SSQV. Goodluck.

The idea behind the Tial, is that boost pressure is the same, above the valve (holding it down), and under the valve (trying to open it), but the bonus is, they use a spring inside it, so spring + whatever boost you want to run, it will be solid and never open under boost.

Thats all BOV's, accept the SSQ. The pressure underside is a greater volume than on top through a vac line....even the spring cant compete afterwhile.

Either way Tial or SSQ

Not all blowoffs are designed like Tial. Most are a push design which is why they require adjustment to keep them from opening up.

Tial is smart, people ( mostly ) who will use a tial are smart. It all comes down to diaphram and pressure. You have to have more pressuer on top to keep closed under boost, but little enough that pressure build up above any normal amount of boost a street car would run can blow it open. I like the Type-S for a street car. The dual nipple allows for a wonderfull mix of holding power and blow off responce. Its simular if not exact compared to what I did my my SSQ. Tial must build Higher pressure units or something, It takes more for them to blow off that is all. Also people dont realize when adjusting BOV's it also limits the travle of the diaphram. Goodluck and like stated before if you have the maft, tial seems correct.
