Greddy type-rs with recirc? how?

I just bought a Greddy type-rs and noticed the outlet that you remove to recirc it back into the intake is way to short to attach a hose to. How did anyone install this?

I think you needed to mention that you needed one with a recirc nozzle, or a dsm specific. When i bought an evo specific type-rs for my evo, it didn't come with the vta nozzle, it came with a recirc nozzle.

I actually just sold mine with the recirc attachment. It replaces the blue "trumpet" with a blue straight nipple for attaching the recirc hose onto. If you can fine the attachment, I'm sure you can just swap them and you should be good to go!

You can buy the recirc attachment. Check ebay, or any other vendors who carry Greddy parts.

Be aware there are different sizes.

the horn threads into the bov right?

I'd take it down to the hardware store and see if I could fine some plastic tubing that was close to the same size as the hole, and thread it in there, just a short piece, then your recirc hose clamped overtop..

..just an idea to try.

That fitting isn't designed to be recirculated. When you remove the venting adapter you have to screw a recirculated adapter back in its place (which is why there's no room to clamp the recirculate hose back on if you just remove the dump adapter). Greddy offers different sized adapters that screw in place of the venting adapter that you have. The different sizes are available to match the size of house you are using for your recirculate hose.
