Greddy Intake pipe or Injen??

Ok heres my dilemna: I got the Injen Intake System, and then i ordered the Greddy Turbo Upgrade kit(please focus on the question not my choice of turbo i got the Greddy for me reasons ) and i didnt know it came with an Intake pipe. Now my question is which pipe flows better and gains more horsepower, Greddy's or Injens?

The difference will be nill.
use the greddy stuff, and sell your injun for the rediculous $200 it often costs.

A pipe is a pipe.

keep in mind CARB numbers if that applies to any of the things you have. Cali emissions are rough.

Ok cool now another question: i have the whole injen intake system(pipe, filter) so basically the greddy pipe will still be able to be used with the injen filter right? BUT if i do that then my injen carb-legal stuff wont be legal?hmmm..anyways ignore that last question the first is the one i would like answered please cant wait to start putting this stuff on. I know of a tuning shop but any recommendations for SoCal folks?

Yes, you can still use the filter. The filter needs an adapter to match fit your MAS (small black box).

Also i noticed that the Injen Intake pipes side where you connect to the turbo is much smaller than the greddy 18g and the Greddy pipe of course fits right. Now does the Injen pipe work with the Greddy 18g or is it meant for the stock turbo kit?

The injen kit is designed to fit the T-25, being the stock turbo.

I assume that you're asking these questions because you ordered it but don't have it yet?

Well, the way I see it is this. I assume that the Greddy intake pipe is using the stock MAF. If this is true, then you should be able to use the injen filter still, like mentioned above. Basically it goes:

filter -- maf -- pipe -- turbo

The filter and pipe won't be directly connected so the new Greddy pipe shouldn't effect the filter. The only way it would effect the filter is if the Greddy pipe was made to eliminate the stock maf, or that the pipe was much longer, not allowing room for the injen filter. Both of those two scenarios I highly, highly doubt though. So you should be fine.

i do have it but the thing is i didnt know the turbo kit came with an intake pipe until after i ordered. poor researching i guess. so as not to have a total loss i wanted to see if i can still use the filter at least well thanks for your input
