Greddy Emanage :( Question

I purchased a 95 GsX and it had installed a 6 bolt with Greddy Emanage. The guy i purchased it from was over seas and couldn't xplain how to use it and i don't really know how myself. So my question is this.


How is the best way to uninstall this unit without messing my harness up so that i can install DsM Link. Does anyone out there us Greddy Emanage and is it worth learning how to use it. I am really interested in the Dsm Link because of the features it has like Anti-Lag and so many other cool features. Does Greddy Emanage have any nice options and which unit is easier to use/tune with.

And will the DsM link work ok with my keydriver stage3 chip that i have.

Any info on this would be great.

Emanage is a bi*** to tune. Its expensive once you have to buy all the harness's for it and its not much better than the SAFC. Cant tune large injectors on it. Timing control is nice. If you learn it its real good, but AEM is easier to understand.

Look on the honda forums and srt forums for more tuning info. They use it a lot. So do nissans.

If you have the keydriver chip in there and it already has injector compensation, then look up how to use the Emanage and go with that since it's basically free if you have it now.

If you get dsmlink, its chip will replace your keydriver chip in the ecu so no you can't use the keydriver chip, but I'm pretty sure dsmlink has every feature that the keydriver chip has plus more since it's a tuning/logging tool.

if you ditch and sell emanage and your keydriver to purchase dsmlink... you will have a better all in one solution plus maybe even a few dollars in your pocket

yup, i agree, i think in the long run you will be happier,save your self a lot of headaches and ditch the emanage and go with something that is specifically designed for dsms.
