This morning I noticed my Greddy EGT gauge needle to the right of the pin stop. It looks as if the needle maxed out and made 1 revolution and is stuck wanting to go around as normal.

While the car is off and the gauge unplugged from its harnesses, the picture I have attached shows its nature. Any clues as to what is going on here?

Could be the electronics in the gauge have gone screwy. What happens when you power the gauge on, does it read like normal? I wouldn't think it would cause the pointer to move over there but is the probe still good?
