Grease on clutch disk

If I got grease on my clutch disk from the last install, would it be safe to spray break cleaner on it and wipe it off to get it clean? Or is there a better way to remove grease or just clean it to be sure there isn't grease on it?

I have used brake clean before and have not had any issues. wipe it with a rag then spray it, then wipe again after with a dry rag. You don't want grease on anything other then the splines on the trans and the TO bearing.

I do put grease on the splines and on the TOB where it touches the shaft. Do I need grease on any other part of the TOB besides where it touches the shaft?

yeah so grease on splines, TO bearing face's, and some on the pivot ball and you should be golden.
