got used "2G" mas... is it really?

I just picked up a used mas, that visually looks like a 2G mas, but the numbers on it dont match any I can find clear pictures of... as well, the black plastic air divider thing that is screwed on the front is shaped differently than what my old one used to be. So... is it not a 2G mas?
