I just got my PTE SCM50 today. I'm doing some porting to my exhaust manifold and O2 housing, and then I'll install it.
My question is,
Should I hook up the boost source on my profec-B to the fitting on the compressor housing? Or should I cap the fitting and use the orginal source (BOV line)?

Thanks in advance,
Can't wait to get this thing in along with the 680s!

i would think you should cap it and run it off of your BOV line so when you drive in the winter you dont get weird boost spike or creep and stuff like that, you could jsut try both and see what one you like better.

LOL-

I was thinking about trying both. The profec B has the balance adjustment to control how fast the wastegate responds. Hopefully it work fine running off of the turbo. That way I wont have to worry about that cap coming off.

That thing is off the heazie fo shizzie.

Thanks for the coments. I guess I will have to change my name. I imagine we'll be seeing these turbos on more and more cars in the near future. They're inexpensive ($850-$1000), and they perform great!

So was that 14B/16G on your turd or just laying around the garage? Will you be posting installation pics when its ready?

The small 16g was installed. I bought it when my t-25 died, because that's all the $ I had. Now I'm ready for a turbo gets the job done!
I will be posting installation pics.
