Always wanted a 2g awd and made a fairly hasty decision buying this one (sold my very reliable, 46k mile, 1 previous owner 01 hyundai accent) to buy the one in the pic for $4,000.

Rebuilt engine with 5k miles, 110k miles on body, rebuilt Tranny with new clutch(less then 100 miles on both) and a couple other novelties. Unfortunately something went wrong with the clutch shortly after I bought it causing the clutch to hardly grab and me stranded 400 miles from home (hence the uhaul). $800 in clutch pull outs and a new clutch later I still haven't figured out the problem. Currently have it at my house with the transfer case/driveshaft off trying to scrounge around another $350 to have the tranny pulled out to figure out the slips.

No the gears dont grind, the flywheel look damn near new no cracks (was taken out to be resurfaced to match the new clutch) the master/slave are good.. really not sure where to go from there without a tranny pull. Hopefully its not something major once the trannys pulled next week but we'll see. BUT! no regrets, this is what I drive now and ill stick with it through and through and humbly introduce myself to you fine fellas! Cheers!

TLDR version: I got dipped hastily buying a dsm and im paying for it dearly... nonetheless, I cant ####ing wait to get this baby running! .. Great to be here!
