Ok, i ran into some issues with my center diff and was scrambling to find one. Turned into a bit of a headache. Not easy, almost ordered an entire trans just for the center diff. essentially there was an accident with my old diff andit's a paperweight but this one IPT had in stock. $350 later i get this in the mail.

This build is really going rough. I wanted to post pics up here and see what you guys thought about the splines. Can i run it or should i send it back and start hunting again? The "big end' splines look good and i'm sure the weld is good and its straight. That's not my concern with this. My other diff had absolutely zero marks on the splines......anywhere inside/out. This looks pretty beat up

Yea, dude this really just was another punch in the gut. So. Much. Money.

I had my torque converter done recently by the biggest name in the business for DSMs. Guess what? LOL..........a bad weld. i won't go into any further details on it but suffice it to say the torque converter had to go back and hopefully will be fixed. GREAT guy and a stand up guy. I think he will see the problem instantly and get it shipped back out to me.

IPT? Well, they are THE go to guys for the auto dsm scene. This was a complete shock but if it's safe to run and just ugly then i don't care. I dropped it off at my builder's place and told him to check it out. ANY doubts and it goes back

Cracked: yea i called them and they didn't have one. I was in a rush to find one and emailed every known vendor that might have one on the shelf. IPT was the only one.

So i guess we'll see. I'll update this thread or my "build" thread on whether this is fubar'd or not
