Not another part out, geez if guys like this keep doing this shit to our beloved DSM's there arent gonna be any left man! yall wonder why its soo hard to find a nice DSM these days? ITS BECAUSE PEOPLE ARE ALWAYS GIVING UP ON THEM AND PARTING THEM OUT! i would NEVER and i say NEVER part out any of my cars, and believe me i've been asked to numerous times. godamm man someone please give this car a good home man.

Freakin fix it man! if everybody that blew their motor or threw a rod or blew up a trans gave up on them, DSM's would be extinct.

Part it out if you wish, most of your parts are probably going to be bought from guys on this forum. Its guys like you that help some guys like me be able to afford to keep/maintain a car. Nothing wrong with parting it out (sounds justified).

If you do part it out, I'm very interested in the parts needed for the awd swap

dammmm IM OVER HERE SAVING THEM AND YOU IN CALI DESTROYING THEM...feels like its worthless what im doing....how much for the shell with everything =] ill probably go over to la and pick it up i need an excuse to get out of here of this town LOL

Not everyone in Cali throws away DSMs. I might be the few and the proud to own a DSM especially it being a GSX. I do mean this in the literal sense I will for ever, for the rest of my life keep my GSX. I fell in love with DSM since I was twelve, dreaming of one day owning one of my own. Just that thought got me through Middle School & High School. (well at least one of many thoughts that got me through MS & HS. But it was still one of the main ones)

Funny story my current girlfriend asked me. If my DSM and her where about to die and I could only save one, Who would it be? I actually paused to think about it. That was the hardest slap across the face I have ever felt. ROFL She walked away after she slapped me, before I could finish my answer. she was pissed at me for days.

I understand how being a college student and owning one car with limited funds is hard. But I agree with everyone else that you should keep it and work on her. I understand that the shock tower might be messed up and maybe difficult to actually fix it but anything is possible. The motor really isn't that bad just replace or fix.

My GSX that I bought almost 9 months ago. I got lucky and got one of those never been touched, crashed, or blown. A TRUE clean DSM. I know a one in a million right. She has a good home now with me As her owner. I guess she is lucky to have me as well because I'm getting my AS in Automotive tech so I can become a mechanic. So I'll give her all the love she could ever have. ^_^

Well good new and bad news for you all, ending up selling it to a owner who is known for dumping ridiculous amounts of money into cars. ( i have seen about 2 of his and wow..) I am glad to say it will live another day and will be going to a good home. Now for the bad news... i am DSMless and there is a hole in my heart as i watched it towed away. Dont know really what to do now... Hopefully when im done with Nursing school ill get back in the game and will not have to worry about funds ;) thanks for all your help guys, not like im leaving but this site wont be my most visited anymore.

Swap in donor 7 bolt. Use current 7 bolt as a build and then just wait and watch. The right roller will pop up in a couple years grab it up drop in your motor and sell the current DD. You win all the way around!

He sold it already.

I saw that as I was posting and too lazy to delete it.

haha never had a 350 go out in my family, just ended up selling them. But yeah i know every engine will go out in die time. They just made it sound it was not worth the rebuild so i took there advice, and took the easy way out. Just dont have the time anymore for this, ill come back dont worry.
