Good Utah Shop?

What are you looking to get done? I know a few of the local dsm gurus that could help you out for tons cheaper than a shop.

hey man, hook me up, i need some people to help me out with my week-old dsm. i just barely got it, and i was told it was on a bad tune, i was wondering you could give me some names and addresses to get my car dynoed and tuned.

thanks!

AZN

Ok but what are you using to tune the car? DSM link? MAFT? SAFC? Hopes and dreams?

haha very funny...... :p

hopes and dreams doesn't sound too bad at the moment and probably the cheapest.

honestly, i don't even know what those things are....i've heard of dsmlink, but none of the others.

i was just hoping to maybe get a shop name that could tune my vehicle while i watch and learn so i can do it myself next time.

i would also like to get it dynoed and see how many bhp i have at the moment.

You cant do anything to your car if you dont have something to tune with. Pm me if you need some help with it. I can come up and help you out a bit.

you me both man, i'm totally in as for learning how to tune. gimme a call when you find someone!

there's a shop in murray, ut. powerdyne motorsports, this shop is'nt import shop to be honest they do alot of off-road sand rail type of stuff but the reason i recomend them is there mngr don is a dsm guy and he's pretty good with finding out little tuning issue's that even most computer's cant find alot of experiance and real reasonable and more importantly ha warranty's everthing he do's mabey he could help you out...801-281-1448 leave message he will call back!!

I'm hopping to meet some cool people from this site to help me out with my new 92 laser. I would like to get some tuning done also.

I have found a shop in Lehi Utah called Blairs Tire and Auto, they have done great work on my DSM also one of the tech's has a 97 TALON tsi.
They did work on my timing belt and some other engine work and gave me a great price and even balanced and rotated my tires for free.. call em 801 766 4321 Tell em CJ with the Talon sent you!

Ive got something better than taking it to a shop that most UTDSM people have never mentioned once. Go buy ECMLINK, get your mods installed, then track down a guy named Eli. Hes a pretty badass dude that tunes these all the time. Last time I was at the track, I watched him hop from DSM to DSM in the staging lanes making fine adjustments to everyones tune. Never once heard anything bad about the guy either.

Glad i do my own work, everyones tryna find a shop to do theirs LOL. I'm in Ogden BTW...

I'm with you on this. I do all of my own work and if I don't know exactly how to do something I do A LOT of research first. Then do it myself.

Get DSMlink, standalone, or a flashable ecu.

Dont use any piggybacks, unless you like buying new motors...
