hey guys. i got some questions. this will be the first set of rims and tires ill ever own, so i got some questions.

what are the specs of our stock rims?

will the 18" falken Torque5's with a 225/40R18 tire be a good purchase?

i just also wanna know if it will fit right. my buddy has motegi mr7's in 18's and his looks good, but i dont know if hes runing 8" wide or 7's. and hes lowered by 2" so it looks good. but i will only be lowering it by maybe 1.2" via the eibach kit. think its a good combo?

k that stupid link doesnt work, just go to 1997 eclipse and click on 18" and i think the falken torque5 is the first choice, then click bundle, and the first bundle option is what ill be getting(khumo ecstas). thanks.

They look really nice, they are REALLY heavy tho, 26lbs per rim wowza. heh i like them tho

how much do the stock rims weigh?

and im not too worried about any negative effects of performance, id rather have a good looking car than a super fast ugly car. and i can still whoop on 95% of the imports around here.

ill more than likely get slicks mounted on the stockers and use those if i go to the track.

I believe stock rims weigh about 16lbs.

I have Motegi MR7s that weigh 27.5lbs and I'm selling them because they're too heavy. SUPER HEAVY. Going to go with 16" Rota Slipstreams in flat black (they weigh 12.5lbs) It has been proven that this can result in shaving off .4 in the 1/4 mile.
