basically, I wanted to know if if will see a big diference in terms of power when going to a 50 trim. Im not sure if maybe i should go bigger ? Im looking for around 400 awhp. Will a 50 trim and 272 cams be enough ?

you should fill out your vehicle profile. If you have all the supporting mods like fuel pump, injectors, some sort of tuning(afc, logger, link), exhaust etc. then hell yeah youll feel a difference i went from a t25 to a evo 16g and it was like night and day. So i would defintely think if you had the proper setup to run a 50 trim youll feel it.

You may want to search around around a bit cause there are hundreds of threads on this..........Havent checked your profile but You need a lot of supporting mods to get full potential out of that turbo.

To answer your question in short......You will se a huge difference if the boost is turned up.

Ok, so i plan on getting FIC 950's, walbro 255 fuel pump, Aeromotive FPRK, DSMLINK, 272 cams, ssautochrome FMIC, and probly some other stuff that i forgot. So you guys think it will be a good setup ? btw, how do you change your car profile ?

go to the top of the page click on my account the go to edit profile and file out the page from top to bottom the best you can. by the way you should feel a huge differnce with that setup!

Good luck on the new setup,
Brandon

You can go to a 50trim if you have your support mods in place and if you want to make full use of that turbo. What are you asking? - Do you want to swap the T25 to a 50trim with no supporting mods and know if there will be a difference in power?

u will also need a 2.5 o2 housing with a full exhaust system, and i recomend a wideband .
Wideband? He'll need bigger fuel pump, injectors, fuel control (SAFC/Link,etc) and a lot of other things before needing a wideband.

The first time I drove a DSM with a 50 trim, I got so scared I drove it home in first gear, parked the car and didnt touch it for... 2 mins LOL

Then called all my friends and brought them for rides. You will like it :)

It is a good setup. CanadianTSi runs in the 11s with his 50trim. :D Add an AFPR and E-Prom ECU (unless your 95 has an E-PROM). You can also go the Keydiver chip route and have a map for 11:1 or 11.5:1 A/R ratio.

Also check out the bragging rights to give you an idea that is a good place to tell if you will notice a differnce check out the t25 compared to the 50 trim I would say there is a quite a difference.

LOL....i did the same thing with my Z/28 after i installed a big cam, longtubes and other supporting mods. Went from 300whp to 400. Wow.

Sounds good. Except for the 950's them are some HUGE injectors that your really not going to need. I have a similar setup (750's, walbro 255, dsmlink,Greddy FMIC, 3" exhaust, gredy profec B2, and much more) one thing i recently got that you might want to add to your list is a dejon 3" intake to match up to the 3" inlet on the new turbo.
I was running a reducer for almost a year (2" intake-3"turbo inlet) it took a long time to spool and stole a huge amount of power. Once I added the dejon pipe it was like getting into a different car! spooled MUCH faster and the power was so much greater words cant explain.

There's no such thing as too large on injectors. If he decided to upgrade to something like a 60-1 or a GT35R, he'll already have the injectors he needs in place and won't have to buy twice.

When using a standalone type arrangement like Link or a chip that compensates for any injector size going bigger is never an issue. Huge injectors are only a problem for piggyback only tuning with an AFC or MAFT.

I got the FIC950s and they idle just fine with DSMLink. Go big with supporting mods no need to mod twice. :thumb:
