I just purchased a 1999 mitsubishi eclipse gs and i was wondering what a efficient way to get this car over 300 hp with very limited funds?

That was pretty-much the most reasonable reply. Getting a 2-liter to 300hp without a turbo is just about unheard of.and if you dont have a reasonable reply to this post please do not reply to it.....

bore it stroke it your still not touching 300hp. You are right about the aftermarket it sucks but there are folks that are at home making shit that works. And for the rest of your post, if noone likes the 2gn/t's then why is it there are more n/ts than turbo cars on the road? And don't give him a neon site, stick with the 2gnt.com site, the neons head is mounted backwards, so there are going to be differences.tstkl said:all motor 300 hp? if i was going to think about it seriously, i would get some high compression pistons, bore it out, stroke it out maybe, clear up the intake and exaust,... cams and springs and valves, and find something to tune it with...but im pretty sure that the aftermarket for the 2gnt's is just complete crap because no one likes them....maybe look for some neon sites...
