ok i just installed an oil pressure guage on my car no problem, noe correct me if im wrong but u should have an oil temp sender that looks like a cylinder with a bolt on the ned to screw into something. Now that will be screwed into you oil sending unit. Let me guess u dunno where that is? Its were ur oil filter is connected to. There should be an allen bolt into it that u can take out. DRAIN YOUR OIL FIRST. Screw the sender into there. Run a power wire from the sender to the guage. Then the guage should have a power and a ground that can connect to any power or ground in the car (use the cig lighter). After that it should work. Try posting a picture of the parts they gave you for the guage, it would help out alot. Below is a picture of the oil housing unit where u put the sender. Let me know if u got another question. Not sure about the other 2. i think the water guage hooks onto the thermostat, not sure where it is on a N/T.

The oil pan is located at the very bottom of your engine.

If You Dont Have Anything Good To Say, Dont Even Post Here
The Question Was If You Know Where The Cables Are And Not If You Like Cap Locks. I Give A S..... What You Like.

+ I Already Got All Intructions (one Guy Send Me) How What And Where...
I Cant Believe Its So Simple 2 Pics And Few Words And Now I Can Do It Myself

That Wasnt Hard

So My Next Thread Will Be "how To Piss Off Super Mechanics ??"

For Those Of You That Helped Me Thanks For Others Hahahahha Losers.....

This thread is a good lesson for those who waste their time trying to help someone who can't be bothered to buy and read a $15 Haynes manual. The lesson is compounded when that someone is also a sarcastic twit.

Makes me wonder about the real reason why no shop wanted to install his gauges in the first place.

Definatly not good to cause at the moderator! We are all just trying to help.Just offering simple suggestions that will allow you to install your gauges and enjoy them.I think it is high time we move from this thread and start looking into a new one. This subject seems to be bringing out the worst in all of us..Lol! :talon:

you don't have to drain the oil. most of it is in the pan, a little will come out when you remove the plug (less than half a quart).

Anyhoo, I'm guessing that most of us here learned about basic mechanics by starting at the bottom and working up (ie. reading repair manuals for whatever, ripping apart lawnmower engines, making things, working on things with your dad/friends, etc.). Coming here asking how to install gauges when you have no idea where the oil pan is leads me to believe that you've done none of these things. I'm assuming that this General Tech/Newbie Forum is meant for general DSM questions, not general automotive questions. Go with what's been recommended already, buy a repair manual, start reading and/or check out howstuffworks.com

Let's see if a week is enough time for you to read the rules, adjust your attitude, and learn a little about the basics of your car.
