gaskets to new exhuast

hey guys i'm about to buy and install a new 3" exhuast from turbo back... the guy i'm buyin it from doesn't have the gaskets for the exhuast... u guys think it's ok if i just fabricate some outta gasket paper? like thick gasket paper... ? love ot know..

no. Just go to autozone or orilleys and buy gaket paper. U can cut out urt own and it works pretty well.

I depends on if your exhaust has a two bolt or three bolt flange. You can find gaskets for a 3 inch three bolt exhaust flange at autozone and just about any auto parts store. The 3inch 2 bolt flange gaskets a a little harder to come by . You can order those from Road Race Engineering or you can get some Percy's XX Carbon gasket material and make your own. It's pretty easy to work with and will last much longer that paper. Good Luck!

That thick paper stuff will be fine. Go ahead and use more than 1 layer if you feel the need.

I heard old Ford diesel exhaust gaskets work. I think thats what I used last time, and I am trying to remember because I will need one pretty soon.
