A couple days ago I filled my car up but with only $29.00. Usually it takes me about 35-40. So I thought something was wrong but I said na forget about it. Since I pulled out of the gas station to today my gas gauge has not moved a bit. I have been driving that car like crazy and I should at least be down to half a tank but instead my gauge says I have a full tank. Also now every time I come to a complete stop my oil light will flash really fast a couple of hundred times before staying on completely. Then when I put it in first gear and takeoff it goes away till I stop again. The funny thing about this whole thing is that the motor is brand new, freshly rebuilt with only 956 miles on it. It does idle rough though and sounds like its missing. Will someone please help me?

Not sure this help but, my gas gauge was stuck once, i flick it lightly with my finger and it start working again LOL.

But as for the oil light. Hows your oil level? When I was low on oil. Mine would flick on when I pull away kinda fast or stop suddenly, then it would go away. The oil in oil pan would slide all to one side. Causing the sensor/gauge light to go off as it detect low pressure.
