Garrett GT28RS Custom Install

Has anyone done a Garrett GT28RS (Disco Potato) turbocharger install? I know the bolt patterns do not match, therefore it needs some custom work done and I wonder if anyone has tried or suceeded at getting it to fit. Thanks for your time!

You are going to need a custom exhaust manifold to make it fit and considering it's not a high horsepower turbo (400hp+), good luck with that unless you want to spend much bucks...

Buy a small 16G. It will work better.

You'd need a T3 manifold and custom O2 housing. Not a very hard install at all, just as others have said it probably isnt worth the cost as your stock parts will flow plenty for those numbers, and you can find a good turbo thats bolt on forum much cheaper. All up to you, not bashing ya for thinking outside the box, just saying if in your position I would try another route.

GT28RS runs on a T2 flange so if you ran a T3 manifold you would have to adapt it over to a T2 flange.

Yes, the standard T2 flange, not the T25 flange we are used to on DSMs. Just clarification.
